Materials for the Easter Tablescape:

Instructions to Create the Blue and White Easter Table Decor

  1. Start with the Table Runner

The table runner is the foundation of your Easter table. Choose a blue and white striped runner to add a fresh touch, or opt for a neutral alternative.

  1. Add Placemats for Texture and Pattern

Placemats add texture and pattern to your table setting. Choose green placemats to evoke the freshness of spring, or explore other patterned placemats in hues of green, blue, and white. We love how this grass placemat feels so fresh and brings the outdoors in!Next, it's time to set the plates, cups, and silverware. Layer plates and top with carrot accents for a playful touch. If you want something a little more traditional, you can add textured and neutral napkin rings, soft cloth napkins, and sprigs of hydrangea to echo the colors of your centerpiece.

  1. Create a Floral Centerpiece

The centerpiece is the focal point of your tablescape. Create a simple yet stunning arrangement using three hydrangea stems accented with our patterned egg sprays. We love this vase that we scored from an antique store, but you can use practically anything for the vase! We used our velvet ribbon to add a touch of finesse to the entire look!

  1. Add the Finishing Touches

Finally, add the finishing touches to your tablescape with a set of two white resin bunnies and some of our floral ornaments for a fresh and fun look. These delightful accents will add a touch of whimsy and charm to your table.

  • Incorporate colored flowers or greenery to infuse your tablescape with the beauty of nature.
  • Experiment with a mix of patterns and textures to create a visually captivating arrangement.
  • Don't be afraid to explore different combinations until you find a design that you love.

Now, we’re all here for the food! From a crudite plate to fresh desserts, there’s something for everyone!

  1. Easy Easter Recipes for the Gathering

This board is simple to assemble. It’s just a smattering of veggies but the star is the halved baby peppers filled with tzatziki sauce and garnished with dill.

These delightful tea sandwiches made with classic cucumber are refreshing as well as little ham and cheese sandwiches for those who like a heavier bite.

We love a good carrot cake - but what about a “blondie-inspired” carrot cake bar with delightful cream cheese frosting? We actually created the bars from a box mix and the homemade cream cheese made it feel like a bakery creation!

We’re all about keeping it simple! To whip up the cream cheese frosting, it’s —

  • 8 ounces of Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter (softened)
  • 2 1/4 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ cup of shredded carrots for garnish

In a mixing bowl, cream the softened cream cheese and butter for 2 minutes. Add powdered sugar and vanilla while whipping for 2 minutes longer. Once the bars are cooled, frost and garnish. (Double this recipe if you want to add in the cream cheese mini pies.)

The one recipe that seemed a little difficult was these delightful carrot croissants stuffed with chicken salad — but they were pleasantly easy to do! Create a cone shape with tin foil and slowly wrap 1” strips of croissant around the foil until formed. Bake as instructed on the package and you’ll have a golden finish! Be sure to watch them so they don’t overcook. You can use your favorite store-bought chicken salad or whip up the family recipe. Once the croissants have cooked and you’ve wiggled the foil molds free, fill with the chicken salad and garnish with dill!

These delightful fruit and cream puffs are equally as simple! Use the cream cheese frosting base and add 4 teaspoons of lemon. Using store-bought mini pie crusts, you have a delicate spring dessert that will have your friends coming back for more! Garnish with whatever fruit you love and a zest of lemon.

With these step-by-step instructions, you can create a blue and white grand millennial Easter table setting that will impress your guests.
