Kristin's Top Picks for Spring Decor

Feb 18th 2022

Spring is just on the horizon and I don't know about you, but I am ready for some bright cheerful colors and warmer weather! As we prepare our homes and start making transitions into lighter decor, I wanted to take some time and share some of the pieces that really bring joy into my own home.

1.) Potted Herbs

I absolutely love to bring in touches of greenery into my kitchen. It softens the space and feels so fresh. These potted herbs are great to incorporate onto a windowsill, or place on a cutting board or near the kitchen sink. They look so real that even your guests won't be able to tell that they are not, and the best part is that you don't have to remember to water them!

2.) Spring Wreaths

One of my favorite things to do each season is change out the wreath on my front door. This instantly freshens everything up and creates an inviting atmosphere for your guests. As a busy mom, it is not always feasible to design and create the wreath myself, so I love finding premade wreaths that have a big impact. If you want to take them to the next level, just add a simple multi ribbon bow.

3.) Real Touch Florals

I have to admit, I do not have a green thumb-but I do LOVE flowers! Anytime I can freshen up my space with faux flowers that have the look and feel of real flowers, that is a win! These Just Cut English Roses look like they just came out of the garden and the best part is that you can use them year after year thanks to their amazing quality! I personally loving grouping them together in this 13" Ceramic Flower Pot for a classy look that will carry me through summer.

4.) Enamel Coated Mango Wood Serveware

Y'all are going to thank me for this one! This line of serveware is so beautiful and well made. Thick, rich mango wood with a smooth enamel coating in a variety of designs make this so unique and timeless in appearance. All of the pieces are wonderful and have a spot in my home, by my absolute favorite is this 15" Serving Bowl. It is the perfect size to bring to a potluck with a large summer salad or pasta dish.

5.) Potted Succulents

When styling shelving units, I love bringing in small potted greenery or florals. This creates interest to the eye and helps ground the space. Succulents are a great choice for all the seasons and this one does not disappoint! It comes in two colors. I use both to create a cohesive look while not being too matchy.

6.) Pink Picasso Water Color Kits

I adored these when we discovered them at market and I loved them even more when I found out they were one of Oprah's Favorite Things (because we all know that Oprah has GREAT taste!) Each kit comes with everything you need to create with watercolor a STUNNING print that can be framed and used as art in your home. Whether you are doing this for the relaxing component or the final product, you are sure to love this and make it your go to gift.

7.) Olive Leaf Branches

It's all the rage right now to add tall greenery stems to your mantle to create height and fill the space. This Olive Leaf Branch stands tall at 5'! I group a couple of these together and drop them into a tall vase to create interest over the fireplace. Another option if you are looking for height would be this beautiful dogwood branch that comes in a variety of colors.

8.) Wood Clock

An oversized piece like this Parisian inspired wooden clock can ground a space over a console table or mantle and provide warmth in your home! This piece has a proud spot in my living room and brings me joy whenever I see it.

9.) Galvanized Lantern

A cup of warm coffee and the cool quiet of sitting out on the back porch is one of my favorite combos! Ambient lighting is a total must for me. This Moroccan inspired galvanized lantern sets the tone for my porch sitting and is perfect when paired with our Fire Glow candles that give the appearance of a real flame.

10.) Easter Carrot Tree

Holiday decorating does not always have to be over the top. Sometimes some small seasonal additions are all that are needed for a big impact. This carrot tree is one of my favorite pieces to incorporate as we get closer to Easter because it SO cute and I don't have to worry if my kids decide to handle it.
