Each year our design team immerses themselves in the experience of curating our beautiful Christmas tree bundles. Simply choose the size of your tree, and we ship all the decor needed to decorate the tree straight to your front door (tree and skirt not included). We supplement the purchase with a tutorial video to teach you exactly how to use the pieces! Yes, it really is that easy!
Setting the Stage for Christmas in July
As our team started planning and designing our Winter Woodland bundle, we knew we wanted to shoot photography in a home that was warm and inviting and embraced a neutral, earthy feel. We fell in love with Michelle’s home and became fast friends! We were so excited when she invited us into her home to stage it for Christmas (in July). Now we are so excited to showcase it to you and hopefully inspire you with some fun decorating tips and tricks! It may be 107 degrees here in Texas, but Christmas in July is the perfect opportunity to get a head start on your holiday planning, beat the holiday crowds and assure that you get the best selection of products!
Creating a Cozy Christmas Aesthetic
In the heart of the home, the living room invites us to unwind and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Plush sofas adorned with knitted throws and fur pillows create an inviting space to snuggle up and relax. The room emanates a sense of warmth and comfort, perfect for spending quality time with loved ones.
Adding Christmas Greenery: Norfolk Pine Garland and More
For her mantle, we knew we wanted a simplistic design that captured the earthy and organic feel. A hot trend for 2023 is the use of natural greenery. The Norfolk pine garland took the internet by storm last year and was by and large one of our best-selling items. Here we incorporated our 72” Real Touch Norfolk Garland with our Real Touch Norfolk, Juniper Spruce garland. We combined the two garlands by using zip ties to keep them together and secured them to the mantle using small finishing nails.
Pro Designer Tips: For more information on how we did this, be sure to watch our tutorial video on layering greenery as Kristin shows us how to do this. Utilize individual stems to fill in any spaces or hide the end pieces.
In addition to the lush greenery garland, we added a Norfolk wreath to the mirror and used a magic adhesive to hold it in place. (These things are amazing!) We love the cohesive feel of the garland and wreath together.
Stunning Winter Woodland Christmas Tree Bundle Design
In the corner stands the star of the show - a fully decorated Woodland themed Christmas tree. The tree blends rustic charm with woodland elements, featuring natural greenery, earthy berries in brown tones, oversized pinecones, frosted elements, tweed poinsettias and rich hunter green plaid ribbon. This tree is our Winter Woodland Christmas tree bundle design and it’s giving us all the feelings of a luxe lodge at Christmas time. If you love the look, you can purchase the whole tree decor package here.
We added a few more pops of Christmas charm throughout the room, including the use of our oversized galvanized jingle bells and this adorable rocking horse.
And of course we couldn’t leave any surfaces untouched. We added real touch greenery to the coffee table and are smitten with the way it looks.
Dining Room Christmas Decor
Next up, we find ourselves in the dining area, radiating rustic charm. A long, weathered wood table takes center stage ready to invite guests in and feel the warmth of Christmas. The table is beautifully dressed with real touch cedar garland, embellished with oversized stems that were cut from outdoors and grounded with the most perfect resin deer-a simple yet elegant centerpiece.
Michelle’s home really embraces the feelings of family and gathering. This warm and intimate setup beckons family and friends to come together and enjoy the holiday spirit. We fell in love with this space — the piano holds so much vintage charm and the collected plates center the whole look!
The use of this teardrop artfully placed on the piano is perfect. It’s simplistic, while bringing in just the right touch of Christmas charm.
Here are some of our favorite other ways to incorporate natural Christmas greenery throughout the home to create a cohesive feel.
As we conclude our Christmas in July home tour, the memories and inspiration will stay with us throughout the year! The blend of farmhouse charm and festive decor proves that the spirit of Christmas is not confined to December alone.
We want to thank Shelby & Michelle for allowing us to come into their home to decorate for Christmas and allowing us the opportunity to share it with you.
