Bring the Nostalgia with Rustic Christmas Decorations

Nov 16th 2020

I’ve been helping my parents at our Christmas shop for most of my life, and the magic of the holiday season still doesn’t get old. From seeing the look on my children’s faces to seeing our customers walk away with gorgeous decor ideas to make their families smile — the magic of Christmas is real, today and every day.

We kicked off the week by celebrating the Christmas season —okay, a few days early— and have been enjoying the tremendous joy that 12 fresh Christmas looks brought us. As I had sneak-peak after sneak-peek throughout the weekend, I felt like a kid on Christmas morning! We have paired with 12 tremoundously talented ladies for our Home for the Holidays Christmas Tree Challenge.  Each blogger was tasked with creating an over the top look that was a great representation of the their brand. Each and every design was beautiful and unique. Yesterday, we shared Rustic Wild Arrow, our first rustic glam Christmas look. We loved Holly’s detail and her diligence to keep her families’ memories alive.

Here’s our four other rustic looks today, from Life by Leanna, TX Sized Home, Blue Gray Gal, and Giggles Galore! They truly brought the nostalgia coupled by unique styles with their takes on Rustic Christmas Decor.

Life By Leanna’s Plaid, Green and Gold

Leanna took the colors from her room as inspiration and ran with it. This tree looks like it should have always been there, gazing with regal delight on anyone who comes across it. The pinecones, Christmas ornaments, and navy blue create the best balance, inspiring many warm days ahead with its luxurious library vibes.

TX Sized Home’s Natural Christmas Decor

Megan carried her home’s natural tones through to the tree — and it is a stunning mix of texture, snow and pine cones. If you could bring the feeling of walking through a snowy wood inside, it would be this tree. We love the look of 4 complimentary patterned ribbons bringing in warmth and visual interest to this rustic farmhouse Christmas look with a neutral color palette.

Blue Gray Gal’s “Extra” Ski Lodge-Inspired Tree

Plaid is such a trend this season, with so many of our creators bringing it into their looks. Kelly put together a knockout tree with this navy and gold ribbon, paired with glittery open weave ribbon, gives us all the feels of a warm and cozy mountain getaway. The pops of navy, red and metallics, truly bring some spice to this rustic room.

Giggles Galore’s Ultimate Woodland Retreat

Mariah’s tree is the epitome of the look that many are aiming for this year — the classic showstopper red, enveloped in the white, gray, and black birch tones. This rusticwoodland adventure is filled with small animals, snow, and deliciously subtle neutral elements throughout. The tree topper is truly a stunning piece of work with just the right textures and motion.
