Home for the Holidays Christmas Inspiration
We're finally here!
Months of planning have led to this point, and we couldn't be more excited to share these ultimate Christmas designs. Today, we are kicking off the Christmas tree idea reveals from 12 of our home designer friends!
These designers all have a unique presence on social media and their feeds are some of the most beautiful and on trend looks for farmhouse, modern, and cheerful decor. We're so excited to see all the different looks they have curated over the months of working with them to customize their Christmas trees.
And we want to invite YOU to join the Home for the Holidays challenge! We want to see your Christmas creations — use the hashtag #dwchristmasathome to share your beautiful trees with the Decorator's Warehouse family!
Without further ado, let's jump into our first look and meet our designer, Holly Blain of Rustic Wild Arrow.
Her elegant and rustic farmhouse decor gives so many people joy on her Instagram handle @rusticwildarrow. Follow her for more ideas on home decor, outdoor entertainment, and a sweet life in lower Michigan.
Rustic Tree with Red and Green Accents
This tree is the epitome of rustic glam! From the bronze pinecones to the complimenting birch and brown plaid ribbons, the look is refined and completely Christmas.
We love the use of our Jingle Bells on the mantle and the other subtle elements of silver throughout the tree, keeping the cohesion of the look. When you're looking to invest in a garland that will last the test of time, check out the Natural Touch products with a bold sage green tone and a look and feel of real pine.
Check out Holly's epic outdoor sleigh with the bells below. (Okay, and get a look at her outdoor entertaining area. We've been missing this our entire lives without even knowing it!)
We can't get enough of the nostalgia and elegance!
Q: What inspired you most when you envisioned putting this elements of your Christmas tree together?
A: With everything going on this year I wanted to take my tree up a notch this holiday season. I wanted it to be the focal point in our home. Bringing in more golds, reds, whites and silver.
We live in the woods, so having the birch ribbon, ties in the elements from outside to inside out home. Every piece in our tree ties into our decor in our home this holiday season — while also standing out on its own, making it the main piece in our home.
Q: What is a Christmas memory that has impacted how you decorate for the season?
A: My grandparents were the biggest fan of the holidays.
My grandfather turned his entire home on the outside into his very own Gingerbread home, while my grandmother turned the inside into Mrs. Claus' home! So going over to see my grandparents during the holidays always put the biggest smile on my face.
My grandfather has since passed, so every year decorating I always think of him. I love going all out and turning our home into our very own Santa’s workshop. I do it mostly for our 7 year old daughter, because she loves the holidays as much as I do and my grandfather did. I hope my grandfather is looking down, proud of our carrying on the Christmas traditions!
Q: How was your experience working with Decorator's Warehouse?
A: Shopping with you all was a breeze! Truly, it was a very pleasant experience over these last few weeks. Kristin was quick to respond and the staff was extremely kind and super helpful.
Holly, your tree is the ultimate definition of a woodland Christmas experience. We love the birch and pine accents while keeping the traditional Christmas color scheme. Enjoy your tree with your family and Merry Christmas to you all!
