We’re so excited to introduce the blog hop to this year’s Christmas Tree Challenge!
Last year was so much fun and we loved all the looks from the designers, we couldn't wait to dive in for this year! Neutrals and some bold pops of color are definitely high on the trending list!
We have some really gorgeous looks to share with you — and today we’re featuring Sami Riccioli and her fabulous fun Christmas tree! We can’t get over the amazing Sweet Shoppe look with the fantastic Nutcracker.
A Fun Christmas Tree with a Purpose
Sami has been sharing her gorgeous year-round Christmas trees for a few years and has an amazing cause that she helps to support through her passion! Here’s a little about her vision for this Sweet Shoppe Christmas tree, her inspiration for her other looks, and a way you can support others . . . and potentially win this fun Christmas tree!
My vision for this tree was girly and sweet. I love a Candyland theme and have done many in the past. When I saw the Sweet Shop decor I knew I wanted to create a scene that isn’t your typical Christmas tree. For the past couple of years, I have raised money to purchase mini trees for patients staying in children’s hospitals so they too can celebrate, even when they are far from home.
A few years ago, I didn't want to take my tree down because the room looked so empty without it so I made it into a Valentine’s Day tree. The tree kept evolving with every holiday and my audience loves it — so I keep it going with new themes at home and at a local hospital for patients to enjoy.
My favorite Christmas memories were always going to my friend’s homes and celebrating different traditions with other families besides my own. Most families with sick children don’t get a typical Christmas morning so I wanted to make sure they still have the magic. I will be raffling off the sweet shop tree and hopes to raise enough money to purchase 200 trees for patient rounds this year.
